Joshua was always emotional. Growing up, however, expressing that emotion was not easy or often times an option. In his early years, Joshua’s father was transient in his life, battling drug addiction. When his mother remarried, Joshua’s family moved to a Native American reservation where he experienced a culture that was stoic and quiet. Many saw Joshua as emotional, causing him to be bullied by the other children at school.
