There are several ways to serve at His Mansion: Outreach Projects Churches, schools and families frequently come to His Mansion for outreach projects where they can make a difference as a team. Often, the doing of manual projects impact the visitors as much as the residents and staff. It is not unusual for some of these volunteers to catch the spirit of His Mansion and to return as mentors or long-term staff. We can accommodate groups of 12-20 teens/adults coming as singles, with one or two couples in the mix. Call 603-464-5555 for details and scheduling information. These short-term opportunities are often filled months in advance, so plan early. Short-Term Service A 360-acre working farm with more than 20 buildings requires an unending amount of care and upkeep. Every year, retired and/or vacationing adults come to help for periods of time ranging from one week to three months. There are several campsite hook-ups to accommodate motor homes and trailers. His Mansion can use just about any work skills somewhere within the ministry, including: general building maintenance grounds and garden upkeep construction cooking sewing auto and mechanical repair
Not only do volunteers provide practical help, but their involvement with, and example to, the residents are an integral part of our healing community. Another opportunity for short-term service is available through our Mentor Training Program. Long-Term Staff From time to time at His Mansion, there are roles requiring a minimum commitment of three years to fill. We refer to these people as Long Term Staff (LTS). Usually LTS are married couples, but there are wonderful exceptions. LTS is usually comprised of older, more experienced Christians who have a depth of maturity and experience. In addition, they have a desire to work with young adults in discipleship and counseling. Those interested in LTS should come for a visit, get to know us, and then ask God for direction about serving at His Mansion. All LTS positions are unpaid volunteer positions and require that candidates arrange for their own support. Room and board is provided on campus.
