Christian Rehabilitation Center

About

Stan FarmerHis Mansion is a Christian rehabilitation center with 37 years’ experience successfully treating everything from alcohol abuse to eating disorders. The ministry was founded in 1971 by Stan Farmer, Hal Moore and Joseph Wagner. (Stan has served as the Executive Director since 1972). These men were brought together by a common concern for the damage being done by addictions and by a shared passion to tap into the tremendous potential that lay in the ranks of the otherwise dysfunctional victims of the culture.

You can order Stan’s autobiography, FOOL on a HILL, which tells the exciting story of the early days of His Mansion.

Christian Rehabilitation

From the day a new resident arrives, he or she becomes part of the “Healing in the Context of Community” process. Our 24/7 approach to rehabilitation includes early rising, quiet time, breakfast, work assignments, Christian classes and counseling, lunch, work assignments, supper and evening routines.

Along with rehabilitation and recovery programs for addicts, His Mansion is also a training center for equipping young people for Christian service. These  Mentors live and work beside the residents. They provide ongoing coaching and encouragement. One-on-one professional counseling is also available as needed.

The entire process of mentoring, studying God’s Word, meaningful employment, and healthy lifestyle is regularly bathed in prayer. When all is said and done, if God doesn’t energize the process, rehabilitation is impossible.

At His Mansion, we believe in miracles — and witness them!

In God We Trust

From its inception, His Mansion has followed the example of George Mueller, a famous Christian who founded orphanages in England in the late 19th century. He never accepted government aid or advertised for support, yet God met his needs. Similarly, His Mansion does not accept state or federal monies, nor do we hold fundraisers or charge anyone for help.

We trust God to lead those who believe we are good stewards to financially support our ministry. For over twenty years now we’ve been able to praise God that all our bills have been paid and we have no debt.

This doesn’t mean we are without accountability. His Mansion was one of the earliest members of the Evangelical Counsel on Financial Accountability. The ECFA is an accreditation agency dedicated to helping Christian ministries earn the public’s trust through adherence to seven Standards of Responsible Stewardship.

Our annual financial statement and audit are available upon request.
