Q: How much does the program cost? A: No fees are assessed for the programs at His Mansion and no one is turned away for lack of funds. However, a stay at His Mansion is not cost free. Someone is praying and paying! It is expected that applicants accepted at His Mansion will have a sponsor. For more information, read our Resident Program Info. Q: What are a sponsor’s obligations? A: In addition to ongoing prayer and encouragement of the Resident, we would like the sponsor to help out financially in the following ways: - $205 initial processing fee
- $75 medical fund (to be replenished by the sponsor as needed)
- $50 one-time educational materials fee
- $40-$50 monthly to cover miscellaneous personal items
Q: Can someone be put into the program against his or her will? A: No. Anyone not willing to cooperate fully with the program need not apply. Those who play games after arrival will be asked to leave. Q: How long does the program last? A: The resident program at His Mansion lasts 13 months. One month of induction and preparation is followed by three phases that last roughly each four months. Read more about our Treatment Programs. Q: Who should consider serving at His Mansion? A: Committed Christians who want to: - be used of God to accomplish something worthwhile for the Kingdom;
- tackle a job so big you could never accomplish it alone;
- be a needed member of a loving community;
- bring their upbringing, training and experience to a place where God can add them to the gifts and abilities of others;
- have community, communion and a mission all in the same place.
Commit to serve at His Mansion for a year or more and God will use what you have to help heal the brokenhearted. In the process He'll teach you how to love Him more deeply, and He may just heal you, too. You'll receive one week of intensive training plus six weeks of on-the-job-training. If you come on as assistant staff in the capacity of a Mentor, you will receive 36 hours of classroom training over a 12 week period. You'll work together in close fellowship with other believers who will become an important part of a “rest-of-your-life” family. Read more about our Serving Opportunities. |
