His Mansion offers several training opportunities; from one week courses to a year-long mentoring program. Healing in Christian Community (HCC): One-Week CourseHCC courses are held several times a year based on demand. They are designed to give an introduction to the His Mansion Model of Healing in the context of Christian community. Participants will be actively involved with other HCC students and with residents and staff during meals and fellowship times. They will become familiar with how our program is structured and learn the essential elements of a healing model. These include a review of addictions, the importance of family relationships, and the impact of sexual, physical or emotional trauma on a person's soul. The curriculum includes: 1. Growing in Stature We believe there is a need for those recovering from addictions and trauma to develop the following healthy perceptions and essential skills: - Healthy perception of personal capabilities: “I am capable.”
- Healthy perception of significance in primary relationships: “I contribute in meaningful ways and my life has purpose.”

The one-week Healing in Christian Community course begins on Saturday at an evening meal with the entire family, followed by a tour and orientation. Sunday morning is spent in fellowship with the family church. Sunday evening, participants will meet and dine with the Long Term Staff. From Monday morning through Friday afternoon, there will be 3-4 daily teaching sessions. The cost of the one-week HCC course is $100. If a graduate decides to stay on and serve at His Mansion, this payment will be refunded. Healing in Christian Community (HCC): Eight Week PracticumThe extended version covers topics not addressed in the one week session. These include "Developing Capability" and other important materials. Participants will also study the dynamics of chemical addition and the unique issues surrounding substance abuse, sexual addictions, eating disorders, depression, spiritual warfare and more. The main purpose of the extended HCC is to prepare our own Servant Leader/Mentor candidates for the tasks ahead of them. We also welcome qualified individuals who desire this training with a view to practicing their skills in their local churches and among the Fourth World community. The cost of the extended Healing in Christian Community course is the same as the one-week version, just $100. Participants will be assigned to work crews during their stay. Just like the residents, they will need to work to eat. Those who come to be a part of the Servant Leader Training program or who commit to serving for one year as Mentors will have their tuition refunded.
