His Mansion Institute (HMI) is seeking college and university students who want to embark on an academic internship at His Mansion. We are looking for motivated students interested in gaining practical ministry experience along with their academic studies. This four month internship will serve as a powerful way to field test classroom concepts in the laboratory of real life.

Many schools offer academic credit for such internships and we are committed to helping students meet the requirements for credit. Our Director of Counseling, Fritz Maurer, is a NCC (National Certified Counselor) and our women’s counseling supervisor, Karen Hilliker, is a LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker). Built on a solid foundation of success reaching back almost 40 years, the His Mansion Institute is breaking new ground. We need interns with entrepreneurial spirits and creative energy; interns who can contribute to a training program destined to become a national model in the residential recovery movement.

Intern Qualifications:

Someone who:

• knows and loves Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior;
• is faithful, adaptable, teachable, adventurous and imaginative;
• is a self-starter eager to work hard and learn what God wants to teach him or her;
• has a passion for loving and serving broken young people who have experienced the ravages of substance abuse, sexual addiction, eating disorders and other physical/emotional/sexual/spiritual traumas;
• wants to help build a program that will impact thousands of lives for time and eternity.

Need Not Apply:

Someone who:

• thinks they already knows how to fix hurting people;
• wants a prepackaged program that has all the answers;
• is allergic to hard physical and spiritual work;
• doesn’t play well with others.
